RODENT CONTROL

Mice, rats, and other rodents can be more than a nuisance on your property. Many rodents are known for carrying diseases that can be transmitted to humans as well as other small pests like lice, fleas, ticks, and mites that can infiltrate your home or pass to your family or pets. Mice and rats can make themselves comfortable nearly anywhere that provides a food and water source—in your home, yard, garage, attic, fields or agricultural land, barns, and sheds.

SIGNS OF A RAT OR MICE INFESTATION

Rats and mice are usually inactive during the day, choosing to hide or burrow, but when night falls will explore and forage for food. If food in their nest is scarce, these vermin will venture out at anytime to satisfy their hunger. Because of the timing of their movements, they may not be seen—but they do leave behind signs of their presence.
  • Rodent droppings are the most noticeable and recognizable signs of a mice or rat infestation.
  • Food packages with torn holes or edges that looked to have been chewed on are often indications of rodent attempts to get into the food.
  • Shredded paper, cardboard, and soft fabric in garages, attics, closets, or inside boxes or drawers can be a sign of their nesting.
  • Scratching, sawing, gnawing, or scuttling sounds at night or times of quite are likely the rats, mice, or other rodent attempting to scrounge for food, shelter, or a new nesting location.
  • Burrowing into baseboards, cabinets, eaves, and sides of the house or shed can be where they are getting in or around your home.

IMPORTANCE OF MICE & RAT REMOVAL

Rodents can cause significant damage to physical structures and when left unchecked, can lead to disastrous events like a fire caused by a chewed wire. They also pose a high exposure risk to a variety of diseases and other issues through their presence, feces, and physical contact to you or your belongings.
